Usually, my favorite time of the year is early April when things begin to grow and I can get outside to play with dirt and catch some sun but those days have been few. And now it's late April.
The "moderate drought" is long gone but every weather forecast has rain coming in from the Great Lakes, the far west or up south from the Gulf of Mexico. Overcast skies even on a dry day have been too many.
I understand that "no water" means you can dry up and die. And I know what a water shortage means to a Marine outfit out in the middle of a hot bad place under a blazing sun but as an old fart I'm getting sick and tired of no blue sky, lower than normal temperatures and nothing but rain every day or so.

Are we still in a drought condition? Been raining like mad.
