I hadn't seen the huge grey tom in about a week but at 6 a.m. this morning when I laid out some fresh water, kibble and platters of wet food up the driveway trotted Sad Face. He's been eating and bunking somewhere else but he knows he's welcome here and all the cats know him and like him.

He ate well before trotting back to wherever his territory is. Since I trapped him and had him neutered he's no longer fighting for females and he looks terrific. All of his old wounds are completely healed and he has a shot to live an OK life.
