It takes a good six months to properly train a good dog but it usually requires more than a year for a cat to properly train its human flunkies.

I have my dog trainer coming to work with my two male shepherd puppies in an hour...Training is a 7 day a week job. She comes we run over drills and tactics and spend the rest of the week waiting for her return trip. I love shepherds they are smart and easy to train. They also are better than a moat for unwelcome visitors. With 3 my door bell rarely rings..
