My 10-year-old granddaughter Allison, 1/8 Pole's girl, is due today and will be here for two weeks.
They're making me shower, shave, and wear clean clothes that will make me look like I wasn't just found dead drunk on a Brooklyn pier but it'll be worth it, despite the physical discomfort of being presentable.
Every day is a holiday when Allison is here.
