I had brought the newspapers in from the lawn and the bride was out of bed early. She was standing by the kitchen table in her jammies with a slice of raisin bread for a snack before she went back to bed. She was looking at the headlines as I walked in all ready to go out for my muffin and cat food. She made a remark about all the disgusting sex allegations out of Hollywood and from the jerks that hold office and take advantage of women. I told her that I agreed wholeheartedly as I stepped behind her and grabbed some lady butt. She wasn't angry and even smiled. I'll be 70 in February but the teen bride of almost 45 years thinks that my male brain might be getting to the mid-teen range. I like her a little bit and am glad she hasn't thrown me out yet. |
