| Post subject: | Cat Flap Door Got Ordered |
Instead of propping open the side door of the garage for the winter we've ordered a cat flap door that I can install. This will keep blowing snow from entering the garage during a storm and allow the feral cats a way to get in and out with with ease with the door locked. The plexi-glass panels on the main roll-up door allow light to get in and at night there is a street light across the street directly in front of my driveway. Cats can see in the goddamn dark anyway and years ago I rewired the garage and there are lights everywhere if need be. The guys from 1-800-Got-Junk will be coming for the stuff we lug out of the garage like old tables, chairs, tools, large coolers and left-over renovation stuff from past years to make ample room for the cats to have a large open place for the cat condos, cat beds and old comforters we plan to set up for them in the garage. A lot of the stuff I'm dumping is valuable and I'll give the neighbors first shot at it but I'm not into yard sales and have no intention to star in an episode of Hoarders. Some nice sunny weather is coming later this week for the tasks at hand. |
