It started several days ago when "The Sweet Babycakes" wasn't showing up for meals. She was using the litter box but she was listless and going underneath the wife's bed to lay up. Once in a while she'd come out to eat a little bit but then she'd go flop and just sleep. We were getting ready to take her to Dr. Wallach.

You don't expect a 7-year-old "runt kitten" that never leaves the house to become ill. She's had great vet care and catches the best food, beds and love that humans can provide at our house.

This morning at 4 a.m. the tom Trouble jumped into my bed. He let out a scream to wake me up and I rubbed him up and he flopped at my feet to sleep. He's just a huge good-natured beast and is thrilled to be alive in a good home. At 5 a.m. the momcat jumped into my bed and woke me up by breathing into my face and noodging my chin with a paw (claws in).

Around 5:30 I rolled out of bed to pee and feed the house cats. I flipped on a light. Sitting next to my bed and staring at me was Shiloh the "Sweet Babycakes". She let out her "cat noise" mew that means she's hungry and then she raced downstairs to her feed dish while I followed her. I peed, moaned, farted and scratched my old gear but I was one happy man that Shiloh had tossed whatever was ailing her.

Yeah, you can become "attached" to some cats that share their territory with you after you have saved them.

Shiloh is the sweetest most-gentle cat that anybody could ever imagine.
