I flop into my bed somewhere between 9:30 and 11 p.m. and get up by dawn while the wife stays up late and sleeps in. It's been cold here and the heat gets knocked down low via the programmable thermostat I installed a couple of years ago. Up late the bride was feeling the chill last night but she was bundled up in the den - 62 is when the heat kicks on overnight and it did it for a cycle or two. She confessed to me today that she went to her bed last night wearing woolen socks at the bottom of her jammies. It's been colder here but day after day of brutal cold is not a thrill for anybody. |
