They lay up and don't eat much. And they're showing up in ones and twos and threes, not as a group. Wet food freezes solid in 30 minutes and becomes too cold to eat in less time. They dislike thawed and reheated food and it's a pain in the ass to do.
I'm mostly laying out kibble and warm water now although this morning Bosco, Catty Patty, Bristol and Ginger were staring at me in hunger and I did bring out some tuna and sardines for them. I'm hoping that's gone when I go check up on them. Meanwhile I have multiple bowls of kibble outside for the cats.

Cats are smart! They need protein to stay warm and plump!

7 degrees this morning and some cats were sitting up top the cat condos to catch the morning sun. Hey, that's the only way they can make some Vitamin D. Most cats are lactose intolerant and do not go well with milk.
