I was in the living room and the Sweet Babycakes was nested in a comforter with some throw pillows around her flat on her back in a nest she had built for herself.

I rubbed her lower belly gently. I need to be arrested and sued but I'll have the non-Hollywood defense working for me if it gets to court. That little girl runt cat is loved enormously at my house.

Shiloh is having an OK deal with life out of being a tiny runt kitten but her mother Mister Mittens went scrawny and beat after feeding her three male kittens. She was a kitten herself. After the guys were asleep she still found the heart and instinct to get up and flop and pull her runt daughter into a nipple so that she might get some milk and live.

Wants a breakfast? Head butts at dawn? Walking in circles upon my groin just prior to sunrise? Gentle paw swats across my face (claws in)? Breathing into my sleeping face nose to nose? Bad street attitude? Seven and a half years later?

Aaah, I love the momcat Mister Mittens a little bit. She was a fantastic mother for her litter and she's a pip as a house cat off the street.
