| Post subject: | Wednesday's Huge Steak Bone & Cats |
On Wednesday the bride cooked up an enormous T-bone steak that we shared but it was still too much. Neither one of us does well with leftovers so the wife diced up the leavings and left some meat on the bone. Those things went into the Great Dane stainless steel feed bowl doused in warm water and I laid it outside. Platters of premium wet cat food were out as well. Some cats happily ate the steak pieces and slopped up the warm water with great happiness. Bosco was pawing the steak bone to get it out of the feed dish but it was his Aunt Bristol that snagged it in her jaws and dragged it away to get to the meat. Bristol is A#1 in snagging pork chops, lamb shops and steaks that are on a bone. Female cats may not have the size of male cats but they are some hardy animals. |
