 Post subject: Bosco The Cat & Last Week's Backyard Frolic

I was at the kitchen table for a breakfast with my muffin, cereal, fruit, juice and Maxwell House. Out the window the young tom Bosco was running all around with something in his jaws. He'd drop it, step back and pounce on it. He'd pick it up, snap his head to fling it away and then go chase it. He'd get low and pop it with his front paws.

Yes, he had a dead field mouse. No blood, no gore - just deceased from the death bite that suffocates or snaps the neck. Bosco eats well here so I don't know if he ate the mouse. Several months ago a dead mouse was left by the side door. One of the cats out back left it for me as a gift.

Cats are predators and hunters. Hopeful the mouse didn't have disease prone :roll: stuff in its body
