| Post subject: | Monumental Senior Moment |
I made the beer and muffin run to ShopRite at 6 a.m this morning. After bagging my groceries I thanked the cashier and was on my way out when it was brought to my attention that I had not paid for my purchases. I returned and paid, explaining that I was old and addled. Fortunately I know the morning crew for years so I won't have to spend the day waiting to catch bail in a holding pen. When I related this story to the bride she remarked, "You can get away with calling yourself late middle aged when you're in your sixties but now that you're seventy you are officially an old f*&k". And yeah, we laughed. |
