I'll be snow blowing this morning but the southern part of Nassau County on Long Island only got a few inches of that slushy and heavy wet snow while points north and west got hammered. My power stayed on which was an added bonus. The local pols and weather wankers on TV yesterday were all hype and "I'm so important!" assholes. You'd think the end of western civilization was coming. No wonder people don't trust the media much anymore. It's winter. It snowed. The people will dig out. Just like always. It's no big deal. |
