Spring is six days away and this old fart is sick and tired of snow and winter and storms although Nor'easter #1, #2 and #3 weren't a bad deal for where I live. The snow was easily cleared and the temperatures weren't like the three friggin' degrees in early January to go along with thirteen days of constant sub-freezing weather.

I want the gazebo to go up on the deck. I want to make my muffin run at dawn without having to warm up the car. I want to be standing behind the garage for a pee with a warm sun hitting me while the next race comes up on the TV in the gazebo close by my cold beer.

No big deal. I've seen 70 winters and this one is just another. It's nice to see the seasons change in New York but getting rid of winter holds a special place in my heart and drawers.
