It's April 10th as I write this. This morning I made my early muffin run in rain and wind and the temperature outside at 38 degrees, just like a nice day in February. The first week in April is my favorite time of year with things budding and temps making me ditch my winter jackets and sweatshirts but that's not happening in 2018.

I tried to call Al Gore this morning but there was no answer.

And on the 18th it was 39 degrees when I went out out in the morning for my VA lab deal at the clinic. The old guys at the clinic say, "We're still pissin' and bleedin' for Uncle Sam".

Somebody posted this on FB: "It's not mid-April. It's the 96th of January."
