I checked out OK and my BP was a sweet 115/73. My blood and urine lab results came back well (I still don't have syphilis) but my weight dropped several pounds to 169 which Doctor Shirley T. tells me is ideal for my height but it did concern her a tad. She knows that I smoke so she's shipping me out to the VA hospital in May for a precautionary chest CAT scan which will cost me nothing. On the way out a nurse gave me the pneumonia shot booster and because I'm an old fart a shingles vaccine shot that I'm told is in short supply and very expensive in the civilian world. I love these zero dollar medical bills I get from the VA - it keeps my beer, smokes and pony budget in good shape. I'm just happy to be healthy (so far) at my age.
And yes, the highlight of any VA checkup is the digital prostate exam by a woman MD. Today was great - I didn't need any help with getting my eyeballs back into their sockets.

I weighed myself at home and rang up a more normal 178. I think the VA scale needs a checkup.
