It was 5 a.m. Mister Mittens jumped into my bed and went "sphinx" at the left side of my head. And that's when she began head butting me. I got out of bed in the dark but couldn't kick her since she was already off like a rocket to get downstairs to her feed dish. I fed the momcat and her two kids before going back upstairs. I flipped on the PC at my desk to scope out the news and check up on some things. I went back to bed just prior to 6 a.m. and caught an hour of sleep. Up at 7 again I dressed and went downstairs to make my muffin run at ShopRite. The house cats know that when I get out of bed in the morning it's "breakfast time". Out of bed for the second time on Saturday morning the momcat Mister Mittens was again sitting next to her feed dish looking to play me for a second breakfast. I still don't know why I took that goddamn cat off the street in 2010. |
