Instead of sleeping with a full belly on Wednesday afternoon while I wasn't figuring out Keeneland the tom Trouble was screaming, warbling and galloping all over the house as if a demon had possessed him. After a pee I was in the den talking with the wife. The cat was sprawled in the hallway with his two fronts out - the paws and claws were blowing in and out, in and out.
The wife called to him and he jumped into her lap. She began to pet him and he flopped on his way to a lap nap. We love that big mummy cat a little bit. Damn, he'd have been a great street sire and brawler if left intact but he was chosen to catch a good long life as a house cat. He still has thoughts though after eight years.

He can be jealous when another cat here catches some pettings.
