Post subject:  Strange November 1st Weather
It's sunny and near 70 degrees on Long Island today. It's a good day to change the oil on the snow blower and make sure it's in tune for the winter.

The garage cat beds have been laundered and the gazebo has been stripped for the winter with all the furniture stored. The wicker chairs with comforters serve as elevated cat beds in the garage.

It seemed odd to be outside in summer clothing working on a snow blower but it is November. The oil got changed and it fired up just fine. I also did my laundry and made an early doctor's appointment at the VA. Now for opening day at Aqueduct I can feel OK about being an unclean, beer-guzzling and gambling sot.
