We were supposed to catch 5 to 8 inches of snow overnight Sunday but rain got involved and my area only caught a couple of inches of wet snow. The storm was supposed to be over by 7 a.m. Monday and that's when I finally got of bed even after being bothered by the momcat for breakfast since 5 a.m. I looked out the window to see how bad it was and to my utter amazement my sidewalk, walkways and outside steps had all been cleared. The car was cleaned off. The driveway was shoveled out to the street. I went outside to get my newspapers and looked up and down the block. Nobody was yet out shoveling and only my property had been cleared. I don't know who shoveled my snow or why. The teen bride doesn't know anything about the deal either. I am truly mystified, thankful but mystified.

I'm in CT like 9 miles north of Oyster bay just 3 miles from the sound. Must be about 15 miles from you as the crow flies. We got 8-10 inches. Our magical snow shovel fairies swoop in from Latin America!

Greg, is Chaos still hale and hearty? His mother Mister Mittens, brother Trouble and runt sister Shiloh are living a happy life at my hovel.

Yes Chaos still going, soon to be 9 years old. I'll try to snag a photo of him soon and post it here.

Jeez, he was colored like his runt sister Shiloh and was a beautiful & playful kitten. I am so sorry for your daughter but Chaos caught a bunch of years off the street in a home with great love and care. I am so sorry. Your daughter had four kittens from which to choose at my house and picked Chaos immediately.
