The teen bride will be 65 this spring. This afternoon while I was pondering the early DD at Aqueduct she announced to me that she was going out to some local stores. Yeah, fine.

And then there was the long shower for her and time in the bathroom to do what ladies do behind a closed door in the bathroom. And then came the blow dry, the "fix up" and a sharp outfit to go out for a little bit. One of her stops was a 7Eleven.

Jeez, I'm A-OK with making the beer and muffin run at 6 a.m. with B.O., ratty clothes, three days of beard and socks that don't match. Maybe some day I'll understand girls but I doubt it.
