I fed the outside cats at 8 a.m. and then got to fixing my breakfast. Sad Face moped up the driveway near 9 a.m. to scrounge the leavings outside. I went out to serve him a fresh can of Friskies and he ate with gusto. He's just a big gentle soul since he's been neutered and I love that guy a ton. For him I do waiter service.

Maybe he "overslept" or waited until the "coast was clear"

He squints and cringes when I pet him most days but he's a good slob and I always look for him when I'm laying out meals. This morning he was here for a great breakfast when I laid it out and again he was here for a great dinner. But yes, when he's "missing" and he shows up "off hours" looking for food I open up the side door and tell him to sit tight while I prepare a meal for him. I just don't want that cat to be hungry.
