I don't care to offer an opinion (to her) about where the teen bride of 46 years cruises. She's got the money and now that she's retired she's got the time. She loves to cruise with her friends and family. I once spent 26 days at sea as a young Marine on the Pacific Ocean and now as an old fart prefer to see water in the shower or in a short glass to follow some Irish whiskey.
In July she's going to cruise to Alaska out of San Francisco with a stop in Victoria, British Columbia on the way back. I'm happy for her - she's a great girl.
But there'd be a war going on here if she was going to be cruising the Caribbean with a stop in the Dominican Republic. She wouldn't go there again and I wouldn't want her to so the point is moot.
I've been around and about Planet Earth and the guy that wears a dead orange muskrat for a hat was spot-on with his comments about "shithole countries".
