We hadn't seen Nasty Mom in two days and I was concerned since I like her a little bit. Maybe love her a little bit. After the last race at Belmont I cleaned up the cat stuff outside and first brought out fresh cool water and kibble. The cats gathered outside knew that great wet food, tuna and sardines were coming next.
Nasty Mom was pacing back and forth in quick step looking like a crazy girl. The gentle Garfield, who always has his tail up in the air in peace and happiness, walked over to her. He lunged at her and nipped her neck to slow her down. No blood, no fight but his grandmother calmed down immediately. I had to look behind me to make sure the other two orange cats were Bosco and Mr. Orange and they were.
Cats are amazing creatures to see and watch. Surprises can happen.
