The affliction of sciatica has been bothering me for two weeks now so I'm not walking well without pain. The VA is treating me and I'm OK with the attention given to me. When you're in your 70s you expect things to fall apart.

This morning I laid out platters of Friskies for the cats outside to go along with the gobs of tuna, sardines and kibble. Cool fresh water too. Stairs and even a few steps are a killer with sciatica so I sat on the side steps to catch a rest. The pain on the left side of my ass and left leg goes away when I'm sitting.

Tux got off his breakfast and flopped in front of me. He went belly up and I began rubbing his belly. And then Catty Patty came over and she flopped for some belly rubs. And then Garfield got into the mix for some head and neck rubbings.

There are some cats outside that trust me.

I usually catch my VA prescriptions via the U.S. Mail but yesterday I had to show ID and sign with UPS for my latest prescription - 30 5MG tabs of Oxycodone for sciatica pain. I absolutely despise narcotics since I have seen close up what they can do to somebody that gets into them on a regular basis. Last resort for me.
