No, Sciatica is not a girl of Italian descent. It's a pinched nerve in your spine that sends pain to your buttock/hip and leg. Some folks have pain all the way down to the feet. I'm getting better with it but I still catch pain in my left thigh when I lay down flat for sleep in my bed. I am fortunate in that I can sleep pain free in my recliner and I have been doing that with a lap blanket over me.

This morning I woke up in my recliner just before 6 a.m. Balled up in the lap blanket between my legs sound asleep was the enormous tomcat Trouble. He never woke me up when he got there and he didn't bother me thereafter. I love that huge feline beast a little bit.
