I stepped into the den downstairs to wish my wife a good night since I love her a little bit. At that point in time the momcat Mister Mittens was sprawled across the wife's lap to catch some serious pettings and a brushing. When the bride looked away to wish me a good night the momcat let out a "yelp".

The momcat was pissed that the girl in the chair diverted her attention to me and momentarily stopped the brushing.

Yup, cats truly believe that their human caretakers are subservient to them.

The wife and I are truly fortunate in that the house cats share our home with us as THEIR territory.
