Before my ShopRite muffin run I stepped out the front door to collect my morning newspapers. Three cats were under the car staring at me - Nasty Mom, Patty Catty and Garfield. I went back inside to prepare a cat breakfast.

The same three cats were at the bottom of the side door steps waiting for me with all the other cats. They did not want me to leave before feeding them. And they got their wish.

Today they're going to catch a few pounds of leftover baked ham. Buying a nice piece of meat is a tough deal when shopping for two people but I know that the expensive leftovers are enjoyed by the cats. Cats like ham a lot.

Only Garfield was on guard duty when I came out the front door on Sunday morning for the newspapers.

Yeah, I fed the cats before I went out on my morning errands.
