After a month and a half of left buttock. hip and thigh pain that was slowly receding I was feeling pretty good on Tuesday night. I had been sleeping in my recliner since lying down flat in my bed made my left thigh ache. I was pain free in my recliner with my old spine not flattened.

Last night I was able to lie down flat in my bed with no pain but was unable to get to sleep - safe, sane and sober was I. Two hours. I was pissed and let out a beautiful 4-letter exclamation that begins with the letter "F". I got out of bed and marched over to my recliner.

In no time with a lap blanket over me I went to sleep but before that happened the huge tom Trouble jumped into my lap and crashed between my legs. We slept together.

Lordy, there's a sciatica FB group that I got into. I'm thinking I'm lucky after reading about years of pain, drugs and spinal surgeries. Lost work, lost jobs, disability. People in their teens up to my age in the seventies. This morning I began reading a post about a woman who just woke up with agonizing pain in her left buttock that had her crying with pain - she was asking fellow sufferers about what to do.

I had to bail out - she was bringing tears to my eyes. Damn, I had no idea that sciatica was so prevalent and popular.
