On Tuesday I'm catching my spinal MRI results and evaluation at the VA Hospital out at Northport for the sciatica problem.

I have been told that when I strip down for a doctor at the VA the staff would prefer not seeing me wearing anymore the green cushion-sole socks and drawers that were issued to me by the Marine Corps in 1965. To me it was a reasonable request. The drawers and socks are a little bit ratty after 54 years of use.

My new drawers are white boxers with little red hearts and golden cupids with little naked gay men interspersed in the design. I think that'll pass muster with the docs that are less than half my age.
