I was out to ShopRite this morning but before I left I laid out a great breakfast for the cats outside. When I got back I was lugging in a 17-pound jug of light-weight cat litter, beer and a bag of groceries. The black cat Tuxedo showed up and sat by the side steps.
I laid my load of stuff on the top step and sat down on the middle one. That's when Tux rolled into me - under my legs, in and out of my legs and all around my legs - tail up, eyes closed and purring. I rubbed him up all over for maybe fifteen minutes.
I love that guy and he adores me.

When Garfield, Bosco and Catty Patty see me rubbing up Tux they'll come within reach to catch some pettings but only the little Catty Patty will get on the side steps to catch some serious gropings. She "yips" when she catches a good grope thrill.

On this last day of September Bosco ventured onto the steps for a bit when I was rubbing up Tux. Yeah, he caught some great pettings too.
Off to the side sat Sad Face who looked like he still might be hungry even after sharing in the good breakfast I had already served. Canned Bumble Bee chicken is on sale for 89 cents this week at ShopRite and I had stocked up ... so I brought him out a can. He was happy about that deal.
