While I was on a mission to de-install the window AC units, change the batteries in the programmable thermostat, replace furnace filters and test the heating system the beloved bride got to work for the outside cats.

She cleaned up the back half of the garage and then had the washer and drier going for twelve hours into the night to launder all of the cat beds and comforters out there. And she laundered all the cushions in the cat condos and stuffed each condo with fresh hay. Helluva job by that girl and I am so happy that she is here with me.

There were lots of extra-happy cats outside this morning when I brought out breakfast.

It "takes" a village to raise cats! Remember when???

The FFwill be warm and secure for another winter

He's still a rambunctious cat. And the name Trouble stuck.

This morning the rain made the outside cats not show up for breakfast but mid-morning a few did. I laid out some platters of Friskies on the side steps underneath the side door overhang and cats from the garage plus Sad Face were able to have a good meal. And then they trotted off back to the garage to get into the clean, warm and dry cat beds.
