On Sunday night I stayed up way past my bedtime - 1 a.m. Oh, there was the World Series. And football and hockey. And then on MeTV at midnight two episodes of The Twilight Zone. Alfred Hitchcock was coming on at one but I went to bed.

I told the wife I was going to try to sleep in until maybe 8 a.m. I feed the house cats their breakfast more than 99% of the time.

I was head-butted by the momcat at 7 a.m. for a breakfast. I got of bed to feed the cats.

Later in the morning I learned that the wife was up at 6 a.m. to feed the cats so that I could sleep. I had been played by the momcat Mister Mittens for a second breakfast.

Cat brains are always working.

So true! Cats rarely miss a trick!!! And the Momcat had a second breakfast!!!
