He's had it for years and leaves it around it the house. If you find it when the cat is not looking and you move it the cat finds it and puts it back where he left it - stairs, floor, chair, bed, no matter where.

Last night the mouse toy was in the middle of my bed when I was turning in. The tom Trouble jumped into bed with me. As I was getting under my covers I flung the mouse thingy to the floor. The tomcat screamed and jumped out of bed to retrieve it. The cat, the toy mouse and I slept together.

This morning when I made up my bed the toy mouse was gone. This evening after the races at Churchill Downs the toy mouse is back dead-center in my bed. The tomcat Trouble isn't here but his disgusting old toy mouse is. He'll be back for it when I hit the sack later tonight.

Cats are weird at times but the tom Trouble is a great bunky. He flops and sleeps in my bed all by himself. He doesn't slam me in the hip or ribs like his mother does with her rump when she bunks with me.

Had a real one last night - the tom, his mom and me. I appreciated being in bed last night with two fur coats.
