Post subject:  Thursday Night's Sleep Time & The Missing Dawn Cat, Wooley
It was actually 1 a.m. Friday when I flopped into bed to burrow into my unkempt pile of comforters and blankets. I was upright to turn off the lamp on my dresser and that's when the large tomcat Trouble leaped into my bed with a cat-noise warble. I turned off the light and sat on the edge of my bed. I reached out in the dark and found the cat. I rubbed him up and then proceeded to tussle and re-arrange and scramble my comforter and blankets for myself. I went to sleep.

This morning I woke up just after first light alone. Or so I thought. But no, there was part of a blanket at the foot of the bed going up and down very slowly. I picked up a corner and there was a huge tomcat completely underneath that blanket sound asleep. He woke up in an instant to race downstairs for his breakfast. I followed him but went for a pee first. His mother and sister were already sitting at their feed dishes.

I'm rather fond of the three house cats.
