I'll be under the bushes and in the garage on Thursday morning to see if she's lying dead nearby but she's gone missing before and come back for food and shelter in good shape. I get around the neighborhood every day on my grocery, muffin and beer runs and haven't seen a run-over cat in a couple of years.

She's young and healthy and when last seen here several days ago she was eating well and in fine fettle. She was a "runt girl" kitten but when she got through her first nasty winter I knew she was tough as nails.

I opened the side door shortly after 8 a.m. this morning to greet the cats and tell them a great breakfast was coming. Front and center and squealing loudly was the very hungry Catty Patty. She looked to be just fine.

Today is starting nicely.

Cats are peculiar! Catty Patty is a shy cat.. but.wants to see the "world"

Good she realized "home is where the heart is"!

She was here for dinner too but after a great breakfast and grazing on kibble during the day she wasn't crying for her dinner. The wife adores that little girl and is thrilled she's back.
