She didn't like the way I was hoisting her into my recliner so she made a nasty cat noise and flashed some fangs. I set her down and swatted her ass gently with a newspaper. She ran off downstairs to be with my wife in the den.

When I got downstairs she wouldn't look at me. Later on she wouldn't sleep with me. The teen bride remarked, "Tough to get a girl in bed with you, huh?"

When I got out of bed this morning my bed had no cats in it. I fed the three house cats. Mother ate but ignored me.

I was feeling poorly later on at the breakfast table while gumming my oatmeal with some raisins when the momcat Mister Mittens came out of the hallway and waltzed across the kitchen floor. She "snoodged" my left ankle with her head and then waltzed around in circles slowly to rub her sides up against my left leg with her tail straight up in peace and happiness.

I was forgiven and the female cat that owns me is going to permit me to live on as her flunky human lower form of life.

She slept on my my lap in my recliner Friday night while I petted her gently and bunked with me later on all scrunched up in my potpourri of blankets and comforters in bed. And yes I caught the hard "rump thump" into my left hip when she jumped into my bed and flopped.

Cats don't hold grudges and after almost ten years with great food and housing off the street the momcat is OK with my still being here for her 24/7/365.
