The last I heard the NY DMV is still honoring appointments for the "enhanced license" to get on a plane and my appointment was made a couple of months ago when illegal hordes of Hispanics were overwhelming every NY DMV office throughout the state for a driver's license. All they needed was a scrap of paper from the old country that said Pablo or Jose Rodriguez on it to catch great service, translator included.

Me? I have to show up with my Brooklyn birth certificate (original or certified), a non-laminated Social Security card, my Marine Corps separation papers (if a vet), utility bills to prove NY residency, a tax return, some "recognized" photo ID and a tattoo of the American flag on my ass.

Any hassle or pissoff Thursday with a brainless NY civil servant that caters to illegal and criminal border jumpers is going to get me locked up.
