Sardines are part of the diet of the cats we care for that live out back in the cat condos and garage but I haven't been able to score many at ShopRite.

The bride is an Amazon Prime girl so she ordered up a bunch of sardines online. Due by April 1st. It took almost a week but on Saturday Chewy.com delivered cases of 9Lives cat food for the cats. Delivery and warehouse people are not at full strength apparently. If I'm not missing any meals no cat here will either.

I scored cans of tuna and sardines at ShopRite at 6:15 this morning and then in the early afternoon Amazon delivered two cases of sardines.

Now I'm sweating. I don't want my legacy to be stamped as "the Covid-19 sardine hoarder".

I like sardines in water right out of the can. With the outside cats I mix mashed sardines and tuna in a huge feed dish doused with warm water. They love the warm "fish soup" on a chilly morning or evening.
