Most of my trips out of the house have always been to take out the garbage and feed cats. I make fewer muffin runs now but buying groceries, beer and gas have not been a problem. The bakery in West Hempstead (Riesterer's) is open. The lights are still on and the cable TV is working well. I have my books and the mail gets delivered. Social Security is still paying and the pension money gets here on the first of the month.

The wife and I are both retired so thankfully nobody at my house lost a job or any income. I don't get "cabin fever" because I prefer to be home even when the world outside is bustling.

I'm wishing everybody peace and good health. This Covid-19 deal is just another curve ball that life throws. It saddens me deeply that it's killing people. It's bothersome that it could kill me in a hurry as an old fart with underlying health issues but I don't worry about things I can't control. Be well, friends.
