On Friday morning I just figured it was time to get out and mope around a bit. The first stop was at my bank's ATM. My beloved wife and nurse Colleen has been carrying all the freight lately and I needed to lay some cash into her hand. I'd be nowhere without her. No, money can't buy love but it helps with the groceries and keeping the lights on. Her devotion to me leaves me teary eyed.

Stop #2 was at Funkin Dunkin at which place I loaded up with donuts and coffee to go as a special treat. Sixteen days after major surgery and some nasty complications I'm actually beginning to feel like I'm making progress toward an OK recovery.

And the Saturday Belmont card is interesting despite the wet-weather forecast.
