| Post subject: | The Wife Needs To Go - And Have Some Fun |
My goddaughter Cousin Courtney is hosting a party for family and friends Saturday at her digs near the VA Hospital out in Northport. Great and good except for one small problem - my teen bride Colleen will attend but will not have any drinks or stay over. She does not want to be away from me overnight while I'm recovering from that nasty lung surgery. To that I say "horse shit and sauerkraut!" I have today and Saturday morning to convince her to go, stay over and have a good time with her family and friends. She needs to go out and enjoy herself without worrying about her old banged-up Marine. It's not like she's flying off for a month on Epstein's Island. Wish me luck. I really do want Colleen to go out and have a good time for the first time in a long time. I'll be just fine with my Cat Brigade, some Belmont racing and great groceries. |
