Vets were all booked up and we finally got her to some vet help at the Veterinary Emergency Center in Westbury. She was very ill.

Because of the pandemic we couldn't be with her or say goodbye. The year 2020 is really not thrilling me. The only solace I take is that Shiloh lived ten years in a loving home. She was a gentle and sweet cat.

Very sad. She was a sweet girl.

This morning I laid out a great breakfast for the cats outside and sat down on the side steps. Tuxedo, Catty Patty, Bosco and Garfield walked over to gently "noodge" my legs and hands with their heads. It was like they were saying, "We know about Shiloh and we are sorry."

Makes you wonder.

No doubt...they "know"

Cats are particularly sensitive to...changes...emotions...disruptions...
Remember the old adage about cats and witches. Cats "Know" something is...off.

How are Trouble and the Momcat "acting" Remember when you came back from the hospital they all crowded around you on the recliner.

Cats are like people....all different personalities

Mom and Trouble have been OK, better than me. I catch a gut grab when I don't lay down that third feed dish but that will pass. This isn't my first trip with losing a beloved pet.
