I bunked with the huge tom Trouble last night. I had run the grocery errands and didn't have to go out this morning for anything. I thought it might be a treat to sleep beyond dawn.

But no. The momcat was bothering me before 6 a.m. for her breakfast. I got up to go downstairs to pee while the momcat took off from my bed to sit by her feed dish. She wanted her breakfast. I didn't feed her and went back to bed.

The momcat gave me a break. The next time I woke up was 8 a.m. No more breaks. She was sprawled across my left shoulder and gently swatting my face with her left front paw (claws in). I got out of bed to feed her and her son.

Yeah, I love her a little bit.

at least you could snooze awhile longer!
