Ain't Been Around Much Lately

The beloved teen bride has been hospitalized twice in recent weeks and with my health issues I sometimes feel like we're being overwhelmed. But we're both from tough Irish stock and face things as they come with strong faith and good humor.

Things are looking up and the the wife should be back home this week. Oh, and I have eye surgery scheduled for next week.

In the Marine Corps of my day a common expression was "shit rolls downhill and the Marines are in the bottom of the valley". That's how I've been feeling lately.

The wife was admitted to Winthrop again via the ER Wednesday night 9/9.
