Drs. Francis and Regina did a marvelous piece of work on my right eye in the OR at the Northport VA Hospital on August 26th. The cataract is gone and a new prescription lens was installed to help out my vision immensely.

Yup, I look forward to those two fine women working on my left eye on September 23rd. And I am grateful for the care I receive at the VA at the age of 72 with zero cost.

As a 17-year-old Marine on a four-year enlistment during war time you just don't think about medical care well into the future as a veteran. It's never in your young mind.

I am thankful for the medical care I catch from the Veterans Administration. Lordy, my cancer and eye problems would have the wife and I living lousy without my VA medical care. The bills would have killed us, Medicare be damned.

Well done VA. Nice to take care of our favorite Marine.

My second cataract surgery went very well, just like the first. Seeing clearly and not using a magnifying glass to read small print are the rewards.

I was up on my feet and leering at women within minutes.
