I don't mind reminiscing here on the board about old Board Meetings and old horse races but I screwed up with Classmates.com.

I'm finding out now that old classmates are dead. I'm finding out that all my teachers are dead. I'm finding out that an old Marine buddy who I played ball with as a little boy went nuts with drugs. And he won the Silver Star with 7th Marines. I'm finding out now that we are old farts and that I should have let it all go when my life and my classmates' lives split at the end of 1965.

On the brighter side a posted photo of Donna J. still shows the great rack that I remember. And that Steve E. got out of the Air Force Academy in '69 and still works for our nation as an aernoautical engineer out in Colorado after retiring from the Air Force. Steve was one of the first guys on the planet to get a hold of the Beatles' album in 1964 and it was first played at my house on a "record player".

You can't go back, however, and you can never "go home". Too many people are dead and too many places have changed.

Oh Jesus I'm in trouble.

I have more than thirty old gals looking for me tonight (the first twenty were 17 white, one black, one hispanic, and one girl from who claims to be from Polynesia and did a math class with me in 1963).

Stay out of looking back. It won't get you anywhere.
