Somebody once wrote, "You can never go back." and it's true.

I drive by the home my father's house that he bought brand new in 1953 where I grew up and it's not the same. I'm 62 and I know that all my old friends from high school and grammar school are away for many decades. I knew that stuff 40 years ago.

So what do I do? I get a load on one night a join a "classmates" site. Some people I do not care to remember are now poking into my life and that's OK. I remembered a little fat girl from the second grade who I always stood up for. All I did was land an inquiry into her profile. She sent me an e-mail and told me that she always remembered me for belting guys that picked on her in 1954 and 1955 and always remembered me as a nice boy and her savior on a few occasions.

Wow, I had no idea I was that good under the age of ten or made such an impression.
