Bosco is smaller and lean while his brother Garfield is just as orange but is larger and heavier. Bosco would never come up to me for pettings when I was bringing out food like his brother Garfield or his small sister Catty Patty. And I miss Tuxedo. Tux would come on the gallop whenever I was outside.

During this winter I'd be bringing out good cat food no matter what the weather just like I have done every day for some years. Bosco has always watched me serve food before eating.

One day a few weeks ago I brought out some platters of cat food and as I leaned down to serve the food Bosco got between my feet from behind and stopped. I rubbed him up skull, neck, shoulders, back and sides. He liked what I was doing and now does not stand off when I am nearby.

Bosco the cat has never been inside a house for a "forever home" and that saddens me but after four years in the garage and outside he has finally learned to trust me and show some affection. I love the guy and I'm just sorry that after TNR (trap, neuter, return) he will never be in a good home with humans to love him.

There were cat bellies rubbing the ground Sunday night after the warm roast beef dinner was served.
